doplnok mužského a ženského sviatočného odevu. Bola z jemného plátna s rozmermi asi 20×20 cm, obvykle v jednom rohu vyšívaná, s okrajmi olemovanými čipkou či výšivkou. Ženy a dievky mali vreckovku zastrčenú za pásom alebo ju držali v ruke. Mládenci na západnom Slovensku nosili vreckovku väčších rozmerov, ktorá bola zasunutá do rázporkov súkenných nohavíc. Slúžila tiež ako ľúbostný alebo zásnubný dar. Vreckovka prenikla do tradičného ľudového odevu z odevu šľachticov a mešťanov v 17.-18. storočí.
