pomôcka uľahčujúca pohyb na zasneženom teréne, ktorá sa upevňovala na obuv. Rozšírené boli snežnice zhotovené z prútenej obruče s priemerom 30-35 cm, vypletané koženými prúžkami, drôtom, zriedkavejšie aj doštičkami. V oblasti Vysokých a Nízkych Tatier sú známe snežnice vo forme krátkych rovnobežných latiek pripomínajúcich lyže. Využívali sa pri práci lesníkov, lesných robotníkov a poľovníkov.
