označenie domov alebo usadlostí evidenčným číslom. Prvý raz bolo zavedené r. 1770 za panovania Márie Terézie. Domy sa začínali číslovať od zemepanského sídla, od fary či obecného domu. Čísla domov boli napísané na drevených, zriedkavejšie na keramických, novšie na kovových tabuľkách. Mohli byť aj vymodelované v omietke priečelia, prípadne vyryté na bráne alebo bráničke. Sídla s názvami ulíc mávajú okrem popisného číslovania aj číslovanie domov podľa jednotlivých ulíc.
