The inclusion in the Representative List is an acknowledgement of exceptional elements and practices accepted by societies and individuals that survive in accordance with the universally observed human rights principles, as well as the principles of equality, support and mutual respect among cultural communities. These elements are in keeping with the environment and historical conditions of the communities and provide them with the sense of continuity and identity, thus supporting cultural diversity and creativity. The creation of the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Slovakia represents the fundamental step in compiling the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.<\/p><div class=\"grve-btn-wrapper\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ludovakultura.sk\/en\/ich-lists-slovakia\/representative-list-of-the-intangible-cultural-heritage-of-slovakia\/elements-included-in-the-representative-list-of-the-intangible-cultural-heritage-of-slovakia\/\" class=\"grve-btn grve-btn-medium grve-square grve-bg-primary-1 grve-bg-hover-primary-2\"><span><i class=\"fa fa-th-list\"><\/i>Browse the List<\/span><\/a><\/div><\/div>[\/vc_column][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;]<div class=\"grve-element grve-slogan grve-align-left\" style=\"\"><h2 class=\"grve-slogan-title grve-align-left grve-h2\"><span>REGISTER OF BEST SAFEGUARDING PRACTICES IN SLOVAKIA<\/span><\/h2>  <p class=\"\">The inclusion in the Register of Best Safeguarding Practices in Slovakia is an acknowledgement of exceptional programmes, projects and activities best reflecting the principles and objectives of the Convention for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage. They promote safeguarding and development of the intangible cultural heritage, are accepted by societies and individuals and survive in accordance with the universally observed human rights principles, as well as the principles of equality, support and mutual respect among cultural communities. The Register of Best Safeguarding Practices\nin Slovakia represents high social recognition and remains a means for popularization activities, which leads to complex care of intangible cultural heritage.
